I saw this movie. It was great. I loved it. It shows a lot of history from the south. Walter McMillan was innocent. The south was very cruel with blacks in history. There never was any physical evidence that Walter killed that girl. The only evidence against him was that he was last person to have talked with the 18-year-old girl who was killed. But there never was any physical evidence that he did it. The girl's body was bloody all over and her body was dragged around. If Walter would've been the one to do that, there would've been blood on his clothes and on his hands. He was wearing the same clothes all day the day he got arrested. There was no blood on his shirt, his overalls, and his boots, or even his hands. If he had blood in any of his clothes or on his hands, someone would've noticed it. But his kids and some of his neighbors were with him the whole time he spoke with that girl. He wasn't alone with her.

Just mercy hospital. 1:30 somebody said “PERIOD” 😂. I grew up watching Jamie and now, Michael B Jordan - love em both. Just Mercy is such a powerful, crushing, rage inducing film. Telling the story of the wrongly accused Walter McMillan and the work of his heroic lawyer Bryan Stevenson, who attempts to ensure that justice reigns.
The subject matter really is harrowing and devastating, and all the more poignant and significant given the current reminder that in many ways, very little has changed in the justice system for African Americans. I felt like I was on the verge of tears for near enough the entire film. The way that this story was told was so intimate, so heartfelt, so vivid, and the fact that it is a true story is so shocking that its impossible not to feel very deeply affected by this film.
Just Mercy is so forceful and powerful with its message. Such a strong message and one that needs to be shouted from the rooftops now more than ever. A message highlighting the racial bias in the American justice system, as well as the inhumanity of the death penalty. What enabled this message to be so clear and powerful were the fantastic performances. Jaime Foxx was astoundingly good, perhaps the best performance I've seen from him. Michael B Jordan was fantastic too, being a huge amount of emotion to his performance. Both played their characters with an incredible amount of understanding, of sympathy, of depth, and it was amazing to watch. The supporting cast were all incredible too, with Rafe Spall and Brie Larson being two of the standouts.
Just Mercy is a really special film, and magnificently well done. Its a great piece of cinema when considering more technical aspects like the direction, the score, the performances etc, but really the story and the way it is told is the triumph of this film. Its such a visceral experience that like I've said, will really touch you.
This film needs to be essential watching for everyone. It is heartbreaking, devastating and poignant, and delivers a crucial message and feeling which will stay with you for some time.

Continued success to him. Hes definitely a legend in the making sitting with a legend. Blessings to them both. I had the amazing pleasure two years ago to listen to Stevenson speak, and even a greater pleasure and honor to meet and shake his hand. The book “Just Mercy” is a masterpiece and moved me to tears. We read it as a whole highschool in all grade levels, and Im so glad we did.
